Grace Midweek Updates

Grace Office
February 14, 2023

In our day and age, we live as if demons and spiritual warfare are not real. The book of Ephesians, however, challenges us to sophistical our view of reality. To go deeper, listen to John's sermon here.Lent Resources + Ash Wednesday. Lent is the six-week period leading up to Easter Sunday and is an annual gift to us. During Lent, we take time to pause, assess our spiritual health, and make small changes in our daily rhythms to help us walk more closely with the Lord. On Ash Wednesday—February 22 this year—we will have a worship service at 7:00 PM to mark the beginning of this season. In addition, we will be providing a Lent booklet that will help you dig deeper in Ephesians and our union with Christ as well as providing resources for households with younger children to help us experience a meaningful Lent this year.Congregational Meeting. We will have a congregational meeting on Sunday, March 5 immediately after the worship service. We will be presenting the 2023 budget and giving an update on our congregational discernment process concerning women in ministry leadership. Lunch provided. Please do not plan for your child(ren) to be unattended during this meeting. If you will need childcare, you must register HERE by Tuesday, February 28.
