We have an amazing and growing group of middle and high school students at Grace. We want youth to have space to build friendships, ask honest questions, engage with Scripture, and grow in their relationship with Jesus. We also believe students are an important part of the church right now, with meaningful gifts to offer and ways to serve, lead, and care for others. All 6th–12th graders are welcome!
We meet Sundays from 9-10 AM downstairs in Rooms 117 & 118. Most weeks include a game, teaching, small-group conversation, and prayer.
This fall, we’re exploring friendship and how Jesus shapes the way we belong, care for one another, navigate conflict, and make room for others. In the spring, we’ll turn toward Confirmation, giving students space to explore the foundations of Christian faith, ask honest questions, and take greater ownership of their faith.
We meet every Sunday during the ministry year except December 27, February 28, and Easter Sunday.
During the ministry year, students are welcome to drop by Wedgwood Top Pot Doughnuts on Tuesdays from 3–5 PM. There’s no program or agenda. Bring homework, a book, a game, or just come hang out. It’s a simple, consistent place to spend time together during the week.
We think about youth ministry as both gathered and scattered. We gather for retreats, service, shared experiences, and time together, but we also practice an incarnational ministry of showing up where students’ lives are already happening. We want students to experience the church not simply as a program they attend, but as a community of people who know them and care about their lives.
Throughout the year, we create opportunities to step outside our normal rhythms: to have fun, deepen friendships, serve, encounter other Christian communities, and stretch beyond what is familiar. Each summer, high school students have the opportunity to spend a week with Sacred Road Ministries on the Yakama Reservation, serving alongside and learning from the local church and community.
