Grace continues to develop its work in the city of Seattle. There are two primary ways this happens.

First, we encourage individuals and families to love and serve those closest to them. We have people in our congregation serving in a variety of ways. To name just a few, Grace folks are giving free legal aid to those unable to afford it, offering medical care to homeless youth, and serving on the boards of various nonprofit organizations across the city of Seattle. We want all of our people to be pursuing the welfare and healing of our city.

Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you.

—Jeremiah 29

Second, we have a few more formal partnerships with nonprofits in the city of Seattle that are doing good work. Instead of trying to "reinvent the wheel," we would rather partner with existing organizations that know what they are doing. We gladly offer prayer, volunteer, and financial support to these organizations.

Currently, we are involved with these good people:

  • Lifelong: Grace Seattle delivers pre-made meals once a week to individuals living with or at risk of HIV/AIDS and/or other chronic diseases. If you would like more information or would like to be part of the delivery team, email Jordan Klekamp.
  • Reformed University Fellowship (RUF): RUF at the University of Washington is a great campus ministry. For more information, contact Drew Burdette.
