Serve

Congregation

We believe that God has gifted every single person in the congregation to serve others in some way, shape, or form. In the regular rhythms of church life, this serving can take many forms. Maybe you can lead a Community Group. Maybe you can play the violin. Maybe you can help teach the gospel to our congregation's children. Maybe you make amazing blueberry muffins. Regardless of how you are gifted, there are numerous ways to serve.

Here are just a few ways you can serve:

  • Grace Kids: Be part of a regular nursery rotation to care for infants and toddlers during our worship services, or help teach kids in one of their classes. For more information, email Amy Grooms or Crystal Hawkins.
  • Hospitality Team: God warmly welcomes us into his presence through Jesus. We want to tangibly extend that welcome each week by making Grace a warm and hospitable place. From providing excellent coffee to helping newcomers navigate their way around the church, the Hospitality Team is committed to making people feel welcome. For more information, email Linn Haralson.
  • Prayer Gathering: Join us for a time of prayer every Sunday starting at 9:00 am in one of the rooms down the hall next to the sanctuary. This is a great time of community building to pray for God's glory and leading, growth in our church body, the city, and personal prayer requests. For more information, email Dan Huie.
  • Community Groups: Lead a Community Group or host one where you live. For more information, email Michael Subracko.
  • Sunday Volunteers: Members and regular attendees serve as ushers, greeters, readers, and communion servers each Sunday. For more information, email Lee Grooms. You can also download our current Sunday Volunteer Schedule here.
  • Music: Exercise your musical or singing gifts as part of our worship services. For more information, email Jess Alldredge.

Through love serve one another.
