Grace goes to SIFF:
Have you always wanted to attend the Seattle
Iinternational Film Festival, but been daunted by all
of the choices and crazy titles? Are you a SIFF aficionado
who wants to see a few films with your friends? This year’s
festival begins Thursday, 22 May and we’re planning
to see three films (one per week). Tickets are approximately
$10 each and must be purchased in advance. Stop by the table
in the lobby on Sundays for more information including titles,
times, and info on other ways to participate. Contact/RSVP
to Nikki Visel (email,
206.369.5235).
“Kids’ Stuff for Kids” Sale:
Between services on Sunday, 1 June we will have our semi-annual
sale where our older kids sell their clothing and toys that
they would like to pass on. Please come and shop—all
proceeds go to the Deacons’ Fund. If you are interested
in passing on some of your child’s things, please bring
them on the sale day! Contact Linn Haralson (email,
