Hospitality

Hospitality is the practice of making friends and family out of strangers. Being hospitable requires intentional generosity to bless and benefit others––the giving of your home, your food, your love. It's sharing the gifts of family with people outside the family.

From offering someone a good cup of coffee on Sunday morning, to helping folks navigate their way to a children's classroom, to inviting someone to lunch or a Community Group, we strive to make Grace a place where new people are warmly welcomed and brought into the life of our congregation. We hope to be a hospitable people with open hearts and open homes.

The hospitality team at Grace is responsible for creating an atmosphere of welcome on Sunday mornings. It also plans and hosts lunches, picnics, and dinners where people can make deeper connections. If you are interested in joining hospitality team members in their work, email Linn Haralson.

Our full humanity is contingent on our hospitality:
we can be complete only when we are giving something away.
