We believe that the Christian life is not meant to be lived in isolation. This applies to congregations as well as individuals.
While we are still a relatively young church, we are not new in our beliefs and practices. We wholeheartedly embrace the historic Christian faith expressed in the ancient creeds of the universal church (e.g., the Apostles' and Nicene creeds).
We are also committed to the heritage of the Protestant Reformation and its emphasis on God's grace. Helpful summaries of these views can be found in documents such as the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Heidelberg Catechism.
In addition to these historical ties, Grace is connected to the church regionally and nationally as well. Nationally, we are a member congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America. This connection provides us with partnership in mission, accountability, and support. We live out our ties regionally through our membership in the Pacific Northwest Presbytery, which includes churches in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska.
Organized religion is a really good thing—the more organized, the better.
